Please read carefully the general rules and the submission procedure before submitting your abstract

Guidelines for abstract preparation :

Abstracts must be submitted on-line prior to the deadline of February 15th 2007. No abstracts sent by other means will be accepted.

Abstracts must be written in English and must not exceed 300 words.

Abstracts should preferably be typed in a word processing program and copied into the form. Direct typing is also possible. In case you have your abstract already typed in your word processor, please use the codes listed in the link provided in the form below for any special character. Tables, graphics, figures and images must not be included in the abstract, which should contain only plain text. Please follow strictly the given instructions, as abstracts not conforming to the required format will be disqualified.

The personal data of the presenting author must be completed in the submission form.

Type of Presentation will be poster (3'(H) X 4'(W)) in all cases with the following exceptions;

1) 
Invited speakers will present plenary "KeyNote" platform presentations
2) 
Abstracts submitted by qualified "Young Investigators" will be eligible to compete for the "Dietrich Hoffmann Career Development Award" sponsored by IFSH.  To qualify as a Young Investigator, the principle submitting author must be "35 years old or younger AND either a post-doc OR within the first 5 years of his/her first academic appointment (Asst. Prof., pre-tenure)."  Qualified young investigators will be required to present their research work as BOTH poster and platform presentations.

Abstracts will appear in the Book of Abstracts exactly as submitted. Authors are requested to follow strictly the above guidelines. Authors are the only responsible of the correctness and accuracy of the data submitted.

Registration for the symposium can be done through the on-line registration form. You will be given an opportunity to register at the end of this abstract submission process.

Submission procedure:

Please fill in completely the form fields of the abstract submission form below. Please follow the specific instructions given next to each form field.

Once you have filled in all fields, press [Submit Abstract]. The submission will be acknowledged on the computer screen and also with an e-mail message. The notification of acceptance, with presentation instructions will be sent by e-mail before February 25, 2007.

Abstracts cannot be modified once submitted.

Presentation preference
