The Institute is honored that such a fine and globally recognized group has the desire to reach out to others and help those that are living with, or will be diagnosed with, pancreatic cancer. Acoustic Alchemy has once again chosen to team up with the Institute For Science And Health to raise funds for early detection, innovative targeted therapies, and hopefully a cure for pancreatic cancer by donating their time and effort to perform a benefit concert. Proceeds from this performance will help support the Pancreatic Cancer Research Program, part of the Gastrointestinal Diseases Program Initiative at the Institute.
Following the performance at the Sheldon, a special dinner offering will be held at The Bistro at Grand Center (located just east of the Fox Theater overlooking beautiful Strauss Park). The Bistro (an American bistro cuisine restaurant that hosts nationally recognized jazz musicians) has offered to remain open late on Sunday, June 11 to serve dinner to those that are not attending the VIP reception at the Sheldon. As an added benefit, Downtown Trio will perform an encore show at the Bistro. Additional infomation about The Bistro is available at www.thejazzbistro.com.
For additional information, contact the Institute at (314) 446-3456.
