Marlin Jackson has been a football hero since his high school days at Sharon High School in Sharon , PA. He was a USA Today All-America first-team and Pennsylvania Player-of-the-Year. He also earned all-state honors as a senior and was a Prep Football Report All-American choice. Since being drafted in 2005, Marlin Jackson has been a key part in strengthening the Colts secondary and giving back to Indiana communities. Marlin has visited fans at the Indiana North-South All-Star Football Game as part of the Colts 2006 Make It Personal Tour . Marlin has donated tickets and T-shirts to area underserved youth for each Colts home game. As a special endeavor, Marlin brought in a busload of elementary students from his hometown of Sharon , PA to enjoy a game and weekend in Indianapolis . Marlin also has served as one of four Colts spokesmen to promote the NFL/Colts What Moves U youth fitness initiative in conjunction with the American Heart Association. In 2007, Marlin began the Marlin Jackson Fight for Life Foundation at the Institute for Science and Health , dedicated to making an impact in the lives of underprivileged youth by focusing on programming in the areas of youth education and wellness. Marlin's goal is enlighten children on how to overcome the peer pressures of poverty by encouraging positive behaviors in an effort to reach their dreams and goals.
